"I was born in Martinique, of Reunion Island origin. As a military child, I grew up moving from one continent to another, from one island to another. From Africa to Tahiti, via France. And everywhere, I saw the same thing. Women, from radically different cultures, yet with the same way of being feminine. Soft and wild. Free and rooted. Strong without needing to shout it. A multifaceted femininity, fully embraced.
But it was during a trip to the USA that the idea for Bahana was born..."

"Bahana", inspired by "Mahana", which means sun in Tahitian.
Vitality, joy, nature, a sunny island energy that is expressed through our universe and our designs.
The Movement: so much more than sport.
For us, moving is as much about the physical as it is about the inner self. It's the decision we make, the energy we cultivate, the way we move forward in life. It comes from within as much as from the body.

LuxeSkin™ was born from this requirement, to create a signature fabric that did not exist. Soft, opaque, sculpting, responsible. We don't stop there. Bahana is constantly researching new materials and new designs to always offer something better.
